Core Mechanics
Heroes are the heart of the tag-team combat. Each character leans on a status ailment — Bleed, Stun, Frost, Burn, Poison, Shock, Airborne or Knockdown — and teams are built so those ailments set each other up. Eight heroes join through story progression, while eleven are recruited from the Exchange shop with Fate's Invitation tickets.
Advantages
All 19 heroes are obtainable for free through normal play. Clear unlock routes — story heroes versus Exchange shop heroes. Each hero brings a distinct ailment that slots into a different team identity.
Challenges
Fate's Invitation tickets are limited, so early roster picks are hard to undo. Some heroes only come later in the story, shaping your early team options. Exclusive Karma upgrades take time to farm for each hero you want to push.
