DragonSword: Awakening Farming Guide — Gold & Materials

Farming in DragonSword: Awakening is mostly a routine of dailies and crafting rather than endlessly killing monsters. Your reliable sources of gold and materials are daily Regional Missions, World Bosses, the Blacksmith and exploration — and all of them feed the same upgrade systems.

Daily Regional Missions

The most dependable source of upgrade material is the set of Regional Missions that reset every day. They reward Skill Scrolls, which improve your abilities, and Forging Molds, which are used to craft endgame gear at the Blacksmith. Clearing them daily takes only minutes and keeps your materials topped up without any heavy grinding.

World Bosses and Basic Karma

World Bosses also reset daily and drop Basic Karma, the shared armor piece that any hero can equip for universal stats. Because Basic Karma levels up through duplicate copies, farming the World Boss every day is the intended way to raise it. Treat it as a background routine rather than a sprint.

The Blacksmith Over Enemy Drops

Most gear in DragonSword: Awakening comes from the Blacksmith, not from enemy drops. You craft pieces element by element to match each hero, which means farming is less about hoping for a lucky drop and more about collecting the molds and materials that crafting requires. Your main lever is your crafting stock, not monster loot tables.

Exploration for Fragments

Exploration is a quiet but important farm. Hidden chests, mini-bosses and optional areas are the main source of Fragment of Sacred Light, used to craft Awakening materials, while Fragments of Memory come from chests, the Mercenary Squad and the Trial Tower. Checking off optional areas on your way through the story adds up faster than you would expect.

Reforging and Runes as Material Sinks

As materials accumulate, they flow into Reforging and runes. Reforging rerolls poor substats at a cost of 25 Adventurer’s Emblems and gold and is best treated as long-term polish, while runes such as Resolve and Amplification boost your stats from raid drops. A Simple Daily Loop

A solid routine is: clear Regional Missions, kill the World Boss, spend the molds at the Blacksmith, then finish your exploration checklist for fragments.
